Gamewell 1950's Los Angeles LAFD Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone Old Phone Police

Here is a beautifully restored 1950's Gamewell "Los Angeles" (LAFD) Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. This is NOT a replica Gamewell Call Box, However a new professionally manufactured L. Telephone Name Plate was used to complete the call box. This Gamewell Call Box is made of cast aluminum (herculite).

It has a locking front door with the original lock and key. The Call Box and Telephone have a powder coated finish (baked on enamel) and is professional lettered. Inside the Fire Alarm Call Box is a 1930 - 40's Western Electric Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. This Call Box also features a working Top Light Assembly with a Ruby Red Glass Globe.

The Top Light makes a great night light for your office, game room, den or other special area and is controlled by an "on-off" Line Cord Switch and plugs into regular 110 volt AC household electrical service. This Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone will work fine with "regular" telephone company service without a converter.
