1920's Gamewell-Harrington Police Call Box Telephone Street Pedestal Fire Alarm

Here is a beautifully restored 1920's Gamewell-Harrington Police Call Box Telephone with a 1920's Gamewell Street Pedestal from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. The Police Call Box and Street Pedestal are authentic and and not reproductions. This is NOT a replica Police Call Box and Street Pedestal Assembly. Although, new professionally manufactured engraved metal name plate were used to complete the Police Call Box. The Police Call Box Telephone was made by the Gamewell-Harrington Company and is made of cast aluminum.

It has a Powder Coated Finish (baked on enamel) with professional hand painted gold lettering. Inside the Police Call Box is a 1930-40's Western Electric Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. An older style Western Electric "G-1" Handset is made of bakelite and includes a Cloth Covered Handset Cord.

The Police Call Box Telephone includes a Gamewell Front Door Lock and Brass Skeleton Key. The Street Pedestal Upper Access Cover also has a Gamewell Lock with the original Flat Steel Key. The 1920's Police Call Box Telephone and Street Pedestal also features a working Top Light Assembly with a Cobalt Blue Glass Globe. The top light makes a great night light for your office, game room, den or other special area.

The top light is controlled by an "on - off" line cord switch and plugs into a regular household AC outlet. This Police Call Box Telephone will work fine with "regular" telephone company service without a converter.
