Offering this absolutely stunning, super-rare piece of FDNY history. This is a 1906 box-alarm assignment directory for the Fire Department of the City of New York. Cover says 1906 Fire Department Assignments to Duty, 1st Series Lists the addresses for all apparatus as well as the response and move-up assignments for alarm boxes throughout the city. Unfortunately, the cover is in wretched condition - it is well worn, and most of the binding is missing.

An obvious (and poor) attempt was made by a prior owner to put the book back together with stickers. The inside, however, is in wonderful shape. The pages are clean, with no writing other than a name and address inscribed inside the front cover hard to read - likely a prior owner. Don't miss this opportunity to own the unique bit of FDNY lore.
